Make It Happen

I got loads of things that I really want to do, but to actually do it is another thing.

There are some things you need to consider before you act. If you do what you want to do, you'll probably end up hurting someone, physical or mentally. You have to seek balance in your acts. You actually CAN kill a person, but the majority of mankind don't want you to do that, so they'll punish you if you do it nonetheless. So the first thing you should consider, is if you can get away with it. There loads of people who want you to do things, and although it's worth listening, you have to do it, not them. Some actions will make others upset, but that's just inevitable.

Another thing you have to consider before you plunge into the deep, is if you can manage to do it yourself. You can, for example, want to be able to dunk when you're only 1,60m, but that's just not gonna happen. You can, however, practise a lot, and get ridiculously good at basketball. The fact that I really had to think for a proper example indicates that there is a lot you can achieve, if you really want to.

Then there is the material side of it. Do you have the money, the gear, etc. to do what you want. You can't buy a car for free. But again, most of the materials can be obtained if enough effort is put into it.

And the final ingredient are other humans. You can't really control them, so if you're goal is to marry someone, that ain't entirely up to you. No matter how much effort you put in, it can be that the selected lady/guy just won't love you.

That are the basics, now you need to have the urge to do it. If you always wanted to be a violin player, why wouldn't you start today? If you always wanted to have a good looking body, why don't start today? Here my personal motto comes to play: "Why Not?". If you want to do something you're not sure of, you should ask yourself Why Not, instead of Why. This way, you will investigate if there are things why you cant do it, instead of things why you can do it. And that 't' in cant and can makes all the difference.

Still, it can be hard to motivate yourself. Some people simply just say "I want to do that", and they will. Others, like me, have to say it all the time, and still have problems to execute it. So a last tip would be, do the best you can in making sure that after one sessions, you're still motivated to continue. In my case, giving a sketch of a new song a cool name will motivate me more to continue on it (although 90% of the time, I still won't open it again).

Let me take you on a flight to hidden worlds, let me introduce you to the deeper meanings of music, and allow me to help you find things you never thought existed before. Let me try that.
